About the Opportunity

Randstad is proud to partner with a leading Local Council. We are seeking an adaptable and energetic Workforce & Rostering Coordinator to join their Customer Operations team for a 5-month contract.

You will be joining a high-performing team of 24 staff across multiple service channels. This is an ideal opportunity for a workforce planning professional who enjoys a mix of technical coordination and community-focused operational support.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Roster Coordination: Maintaining and updating existing rosters for a diverse workforce (casual, permanent, PT, and FT).
  • Operational Admin: Handling ad-hoc duties such as raising purchase orders and general procurement support.
  • Data & Spreadsheets: Utilizing Excel to track staff movements and operational changes.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have a "can-do" attitude and a genuine passion for working in a collaborative team environment.

  • Background: Proven experience in a Contact Centre or busy Operations environment is essential.
  • Workforce Planning: A strong understanding of workforce planning principles and roster management.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills (you must be comfortable with formulas and complex spreadsheets).
  • Culture Fit: You are friendly, committed, and enjoy meeting new people. You take pride in how your work relates to and supports the wider team.
